Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AscensionModel LLC ("AscensionModel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit ascensionmodel.io, request a free webinar audit, or communicate with us about that request or our services.
A separate client agreement, confidentiality agreement, or data-processing agreement may apply if you later engage us for paid work. If a signed agreement conflicts with this policy, that agreement controls for the work it covers.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information contained in materials you choose to link, and limited technical information generated when you use the site.
- Audit submission details: your name, email address, slide-deck link, webinar opt-in page link, and any other information you send in later correspondence.
- Linked materials: webinar slides, copy, images, offer details, audience information, and other content available through the links you submit. We only access what your sharing settings make available to us.
- Communications: confirmation messages, replies, feedback, call notes, and other records relating to your audit or a potential engagement.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, and security or server-log data generated by our hosting and site infrastructure.
How we use information
- Receive, review, and evaluate your webinar, slides, registration experience, offer, and related materials.
- Prepare and deliver the personalized audit you requested, including a recorded review or written recommendations.
- Confirm your submission, communicate about access problems, answer questions, and follow up about relevant AscensionModel services.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site, form, audit process, and related communications.
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, infringement, or other misuse of the site and audit offer.
- Maintain appropriate business records, enforce our terms and agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases for processing
If privacy law requires us to identify a legal basis, we process information as necessary to take steps at your request and deliver the audit, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, with your consent where required, and to comply with law. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.
How we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to run the site, complete your audit, communicate with you, protect the business, or meet legal obligations.
- Service providers that support website hosting, workflow automation, email, cloud storage, video recording or delivery, security, and business administration.
- Team members and contractors who need the information to review your materials or prepare and deliver the audit and who are expected to handle it appropriately.
- Professional advisors, insurers, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
- A buyer, successor, or transaction participant in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar business event, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Sale, sharing, and advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use information or materials submitted for an audit for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Retention
We retain submission details, linked-material review records, communications, and audit work product only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete and follow up on the audit, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary with the type of information and the reason we hold it.
You control the permissions on the cloud links you submit. Removing our access may prevent us from completing the audit, but it does not automatically delete copies or records already created as part of the review.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we maintain. No website, email system, cloud link, or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please use appropriate sharing permissions and do not submit passwords, payment-card data, government identification numbers, health information, or other highly sensitive personal information. If your deck contains confidential third-party information, make sure you have permission to share it.
Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to know or access personal information we hold about you; correct or delete it; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, reply to an email you received from AscensionModel and identify it as a privacy request. If you have not received an email from us, submit the audit form and use the confirmation email to contact us. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in those messages.
Cookies and third-party resources
The site and its infrastructure may use essential cookies, server logs, and similar technologies needed to display pages, secure forms, prevent abuse, and remember technical preferences. The site may also load resources such as fonts from third-party providers, which can receive technical data such as your IP address and browser information under their own privacy terms.
Links you submit or follow may lead to third-party services such as cloud-document, video, or website platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and you are responsible for choosing appropriate access settings for your materials.
International visitors
AscensionModel is based in the United States. If you access the site or submit materials from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for those transfers.
Children
The site and free webinar audit are intended for business owners and adult professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information through the site, contact us using the process above so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top. Material changes apply prospectively unless the law permits or requires otherwise.
